The average household watches television 5+ hours a day!
Television weaves through our daily lives showing us compelling stories—whether it’s covering breaking news or entertaining us with comedy, drama, reality and sports programming.
It takes many skilled people to create TV content 24/7: writers, producers, videographers, editors, and production assistants, to name a few. At Carolina School of Broadcasting, hands-on training provides the skills-education you need to be a well-rounded storyteller and enter the exciting and rewarding field of television broadcasting.
You’ll put those skills to use here as you produce, shoot, write, report and edit stories for a broadcast television program, “Carolina Connection,” which is shown in the Charlotte region. Portions of that production are posted below. Take a look and visualize yourself as part of the Carolina Connection team.
